What Happens After Death?

Depending on believing in God or loving sin more, there are the possible ways people will end up

Living as Non-Believer 🔗

Living without God

People without God usually live without purpose of life and forget we have morals.

Lukewarm people will not inherit the kingdom of God as in Revelation 3:16

Matthew 12:31-32, mark 3:28-29 and Luke 12:10 talk about the unforgivable sin, while God can forgive the blasphemy against himself, he cannot forgive/change the choice of not wanting God in life, pharaoh was an example who committed the unforgivable sin in the book of exodus

The unforgivable sin is to know the truth/God but reject him willingly, its not an accidental sin, its a willful sin, one you do on purpose, one day, your heart will be so hardened that you can NOT believe anymore, at one moment people will cross that line if they keep denying God willfully

Sheol 🔗

Also called Hades in Greek and Sheol in Hebrew

Sheol will one day at the day of judgement emptied into hell as in Revelation 20:14

In Psalm 86 Sheol is also described as a somewhat horrible place

Deuteronomy 32:22 Says that The anger of God has put the lowest levels of Sheol to fire, thats why the rich man in Luke 16:22-24 was suffering from fire

1 Peter 3:13-22 says that Jesus went to Sheol to spread the gospel, not hell, Jesus never was in hell during those 3 days where he was dead, Matthew 12:40 Also tells us Jesus went to the center of earth, meaning he went to sheol in every place to preach the gospel even the lowest layer

Job 7:9-10 tells us that whoever falls in sheol, won't ever come back to life

1 Corinthians 15:54-57 shows us that Satan no longer has control over death

Hell 🔗

Also called Tartarus in Greek and Gehenna in Hebrew. In scriptures also called "Bottomless pit", "Abyss" and "Lake of fire"

Mark 9:44-48 tells us that Hell is the WORST place ever you can end up

Revelation 19:20 Tells us that satan and all false prophets will be thrown into the lake of fire

2 Thessalonians 1:9 tells us that the unbelievers will be thrown into the lake of fire FOREVER

Reborn as Christian 🔗

Jesus told us that we have to be born again

John 3:3

We are all sinners and are born in a wicked world, its natural that we need a savior

Romans 3:23

1 John 5:1 shows us the first requirement to be born again, which is loving God over the world and John 3:5 tells us that we not only have to be baptised by water but also the holy spirit to be born again (giving yourself 100% to God) 2 Corinthians 5:17 tells us that when were born again, we become new, God changes us from inside

Heaven 🔗

Also called ouranos in Greek and Shamayim in Hebrew

Heaven will have no more hunger, thirst, suffering, tiredness or sadness as in Revelation 7:14-17

Matthew 6:19-21 talks about building your treasures in heaven and not on earth

Revelation 22:1-14 tells us that heaven is like a marriage where everyone is invited, but many refuse and go their own way

The heavenly wedding

Heaven also has no more marriage or sex as in Matthew 22:30 we also will become like angels which is a lot better than earthly pleasures

Matthew 7:13-14 tells us that the path to heaven is small, and not many will find it even to the point that is it easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than a rich man inheriting the kingdom of God Matthew 19:24

People who are in heaven stay in heaven.

Notes

King James version (KJV) does not recognise sheol/hades instead writes hell everywhere

The New King James Version (NKJV), the Modern English Version (MEV) and the English Standard Version (ESV) don't have this issue

This page might trigger some people who accepted certain creeds since it shows how Jesus did not go to hell during his 3 days where he was dead, preaching in hell would be useless since no one could be saved (example the apostle, Athanasian, ect; creeds proven wrong by the bible)

This is ultimately the purpose of life, The question:
Do you prefer God or this world?
and its your choice now, is God more worth it or are the pleasures of this world better?

1 John 2:15-17
